Another successful season for the Triple M team is done

What an amazing 2019 season!
From Sean Gould and Wallace Menzies breaking several of the long standing outright hill records on our Pirelli tyres (with Wallace going on to take the title), to the birth of baby Alex in November (maybe we are going to be Quadruple M soon!) with plenty of highlights in between....
Race wins for Tom Hibbert in the Ginetta G55 supercup and Grahame Tilley in our mighty GTR.
Engineering duty on the new Ginetta LMP1 car out in Shanghai.
An end of season outing in the Mole racing Van Diemen for Alan, finishing 2nd in the BSC run off at Anglesey 1st time in the car.
Nick taking the HSA overall title for the 2nd time in our little MX5.
And a new chapter starts with Alan and Angie taking over the management of Blyton Park from a retiring Richard Usher, who was the driving force behind the creation of this fantastic track, we hope to do Richard proud in the continued improvement of the Ginetta owned facility.
Here's to 2020.....

British Hillclimb Championship annual trip to the Channel Islands dominated by Pirelli

All bar one of the twelve podium positions available over the two meetings fell to Pirelli Ultrasoft tyred runners when the annual trip to Guernsey and Jersey took place this July.
Richard Spedding (pictured) and Wallace Menzies taking a win apiece on both Islands.
That makes it six runoff wins in a row for Pirelli and there's still more to come!

Pirelli Wet tyres prove a point at Pembrey

At the British Sprint Championship event at Pembrey on Sunday 2nd June 2019 the qualifying runs were held in wet conditions giving the Pirelli equipped competitors their first chance to see how the wet tyres performed. The verdict was near unanimous as the following drivers testified.

Steve Miles (2.0 Van Diemen RF92 pictured): “They felt like slicks and the car didn’t move around. I wish I could have committed more to see how hard you can push them”. Even so, Steve qualified as the fastest runner, taking FTD and pushing the big V8s down the order!

Steve Broughton (2.0 SBD Dallara 2nd fastest qualifier): “Just like driving on slicks – confidence inspiring”.

Jeff Wiltshire (Sports Libre Zeus Challenger 6th fastest qualifier): “The tyres are ‘**** hot!’. It was streaming wet and the car felt like it was on slicks in the dry”.

Pirelli score a one-two at first British Sprint round of 2019

At Castle Combe on March 23rd Steve Broughton and Matt Hillam finished one two in their Dallara F3.

This was the first British Sprint or Hilclimb championship run off to be won on Pirellli tyres.

Chris Jones in a modified Westfield running Pirelli slicks qualified for the Run Off and most Pirelli-shod competitors reported setting PBs at the event.
